Yahoo! Calendar (http://calendar.yahoo.com) is similar in many respects to Google Calendar. Note the Sharing features. There also is a tasks function, although it is substantially less robust than Google's multiple list functions. Performance Record - Unless you plan to spend time in China, I urge you to work through the Google Calendar material. Many U.S. schools are adopting Google. - If you will be spending time in China, then use Yahoo! Calendar. - Whichever service you use, set up some events - perhaps items from this class's schedule and a few list items - again perhaps assignments from this class - some done and some not done. - Set your calendar to "public" sharing. If you really don't want to do that, my Yahoo! ID is krug_tony and my Google ID is krug.tony. You can set the calendar to a more restrictive sharing if you wish using the ID appropriate for the Calendar you are using, but this is more difficult to set up. - Send me an email with the link to your calendar and any comments you wish to make about your experience with the calendar you have chosen to use.
